At the NFSN Meeting in Northamptonshire it was decided to honour the memory of Bernadette Hartley by making an annual award for the most innovative UK initiative or achievement in promoting the use of fire sprinklers for life safety/property or environmental protection.

The Award will be presented at the NFSN Parliamentary Seminar on the 2^nd February 2009 and the successful contributor will be invited to the Seminar, as a guest of the NFSN.

Submissions for both should be sent in the first case to:
