Eurofire 2009
Eurofire 2009 is the European Conference on Fire Safety Technologies and Engineering. The conference aims to present, discuss and debate the latest developments in technologies and approaches applied to achieve the required levels of fire safety.
The conference will be delivered by 30 renowned and respected international speakers. The event has been organised by Agoria (Belgium), Fireforum (Belgium), NFPA (USA), Gimssi (France) and BGV (Switzerland). This international partnership represents manufacturers, installers, fire and rescue services, insurers and associations.
Some of the major topics to be covered by the international speakers will include:
- The role and importance of Fire Safety Engineering;
- Technological innovations in active fire protection systems
(sprinklers, water-mist, detection systems, smoke and heat discharge systems);
- Passive fire protection systems;
- Computer models;
- The impact of Fire Safety Engineering on the operation of the fire-fighting services and the policy implemented by insurers.
The event is supported by many international companies who will be presenting their products and services.
Date & Location:
The event will take place on the 24th and 25th September 2009 in Bruges (Belgium), in the Halles of the Belfry, an outstanding monument from the Middle Ages in the Unesco World Heritage city centre of Bruges.
