Teddington secondary School: 27th February 2017


At 09:39 on Monday 27th February 2017, London Fire Brigade received a call to Teddington School (TW11). A fire had occurred in a first floor science lab at the 3 storey building which was built in 2011 and features an atrium.


The fire involved the use of a Bunsen burner which ignited nearby combustible materials. It was of sufficient intensity to activate 3 sprinkler head which extinguished the fire.


Fire damage was limited to the room of origin and the room was out of commission for the remainder of the day.
